Could you tell if a creek or pond is clean just by looking at it? Smelling it? Do those creepy-looking bugs swimming on the surface indicate pollution? Turns out, it’s not always so easy to determine whether water is clean or polluted. But in any case, healthy humans depend on healthy water. This “boots-in-the-creek” workshop will leave you with newfound skills as creek conservationist and resources to pass those same skills on to your students. Open to formal and informal educators.
Saturday, September 22nd
9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Cost: $0 (Lunch provided)
