Omaha’s Zoo & Aquarium announces Luis Padilla, DVM Dipl. ACZM, as its next President and CEO. Dr. Padilla will succeed Dennis Pate after his retirement in late 2022. Puma Cub Finds New Home With Help of Three Nebraska Organizations

A male Puma cub now calls Riverside Discovery Center home. The male Puma cub was first found by Nebraska Game & Parks abandoned in Northeast Nebraska. Trail cameras showed that the cub was underweight and had been without a mother for an extended period of time. The cub was initially taken to Lee G. Wildlife Safari Park Reaches Attendance Milestone

The Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska, hit an attendance record of over 400,000 visitors on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020. Wildlife Safari Park Opens Friday for Drive-Through Visitors

Lee G. Simmons Wildlife Safari Park in Ashland, Nebraska, will open for the season this Friday, March 27, with the daily hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, the Wildlife Safari Park will be limited to a drive-through experience only until April 30, 2020.
